1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to compliance, legal, registry, and advisory service fees paid to Property Pandit. It does not apply to government fees, stamp duty, registration charges, or any third-party costs paid on your behalf.
2. Eligibility for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Work on the engaged service has not yet commenced.
- You were charged twice for the same service due to a technical error.
- We are unable to deliver the agreed scope due to reasons solely attributable to us.
- The service is cancelled within the cancellation window defined in your service agreement.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds are not available where:
- Work on your file has already commenced (title searches, court checks, revenue filings, etc.).
- Government fees, stamp duty, or departmental charges have been paid on your behalf.
- Documents have already been submitted to authorities or counterparties.
- Delays are caused by incomplete information, missing documents, or non-response from you.
- The outcome of a legal matter is unfavourable despite professional effort.
- Service fees billed at an hourly or retainer rate for hours already consumed.
4. Refund Request Process
- Email support@propertypandit.in within 7 days of the payment or the event giving rise to the request.
- Include your invoice/receipt number and a brief reason for the refund.
- Our team will review the request and respond within 5 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be credited within 7–14 business days.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. In the rare case where the original method is unavailable, we may process the refund via bank transfer on written instruction from you.
6. Partial Refunds
For services partially completed, we may offer a pro-rata refund at our sole discretion, based on hours consumed, deliverables produced, and third-party costs incurred. A written breakdown will be shared before processing.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Before work begins: full refund minus a nominal processing fee (to cover payment gateway charges).
- After work begins: evaluated on a case-by-case basis with reference to deliverables completed and costs incurred.
8. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer. Unresolved disputes may be pursued through the appropriate consumer redressal forum with jurisdiction in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
